The failings of the "system"

Today, as I was in the checkout line in Wal-Mart, I was thinking about all of the retail jobs I've had. I thought about one summer when I was 16 years old working 40 hours a week at a popular retail store, making minimum wage and running my butt off for a large corporate company.

A farewell to school after 29 years

They say the first step toward recovery is to admit you have a problem. My name is G. Michael Thomas and I am Graduation Gownaphobic. After seven years in school (spread out over 29 years) I think that I have become institutionalized. I have enjoyed my time at ETSU very much.
