Parking

Dear Editor, Imagine my surprise and confusion when notified by the Bursars Office that I had accumulated $130 in unpaid parking tickets! Surprise and confusion because I have no unpaid parking tickets. I trotted down to the "Parking Services" office and provided my vehicle description and plate number and was told it was not my car that was ticketed.

Dear Editor, The April 6 edition of the East Tennessean featured an article titled "A convenient untruth," by a guest contributor. He had many remarks that were both ill-informed and devaluing in respect to women and the general public. First, we would like to give credit to the author for noting Gore's inconsistencies regarding temperature scales.

"Depression"

Dear Editor, In response to the current "depression" many people have questioned America's stability. We must keep in mind no market will ever continuously go up. It's a natural cycle for the economy to fluctuate. It will come back around. If one is skeptical, let me remind him/her of America's history.

Dry campus

Dear Editor, ETSU is a "dry" campus, yet with all the parties and teenage wildness there is probably not one day that alcohol is not consumed on campus. So I am questioning why ETSU claims to be a dry campus and if it is really making the campus anymore "dry.
