Dear Editor, I read the East Tennessean during my break as a way of clearing my head for a moment. It's something to read that gives my mind a break from my regretfully mundane classes this semester. There are some things I don't enjoy reading on the other hand.
Dear Editor, Greetings my fellow/students/faculty/staff. I agree with former judge Jim Gray. Reading the LA Times Sunday, I came across this great article that I will share with you and see if you don't agree with me, and 25-year, court-appointed Judge Jim Gray, that pot should be de-criminalized/regulated/taxed! I have a good friend who was District Attorney here for 16 years, David Crockett, who told me that half the people sitting in the overcrowded Carter County Jail, where I'm from, shouldn't even be in jail and that over half are in jail because of prescription drugs/pot.
