Spring break is just around the corner, and everyone is making plans that are very different from one another. Whatever your plans might be, as a result of the present economic state, it is always a priority to maximize the fun while still having money in your pocket.
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, East Tennessee State University's Alliance for Continued Learning (ACL) will present a wide range of sessions from which to choose this spring, with topics as diverse as hula dancing, sharks, Civil Rights, prison ministry, traffic cameras, birds and others.

Spring Break is fast approaching, and while a week of unadulterated fun and freedom is what so many students hope for, many more are finding that those seven days will be less of a break than they expected. In fact, what with filing taxes, preparing FAFSA forms, studying for midterms and applying for next year's scholarships, the phrase "Spring Break" sounds like more of an oxymoron than anything.
