ETSU women's volleyball crushes league-leading Ospreys

The ETSU volleyball team shutout the league leading North Florida Ospreys Saturday afternoon at Brooks Gym, 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 26-24). "We said to the girls that they had a decision to make on whether they wanted to be 4-14 or 14-4," said head coach Lindsey Devine.

Volleyball lingo

Ace - A serve that is neither touched nor returned by the receiving team. It scores an immediate point for the serving team. Attack - The aggressive play of the offensive team as it hits the ball over the net. Center Line - The dividing line of the court that runs underneath the length of the net.

Buccaneer men's soccer defeats High Point

The ETSU men's soccer team shutout High Point Saturday afternoon at Summers-Taylor Stadium, 2-0. "First and foremost our team continues to get better and better," said head coach Scott Calabrese. "In this game I think we saw an ETSU team that passed well and controled the game.
