'Pig book' names ridiculous spending of U.S. tax dollars

Ever wonder exactly where your tax money goes? You are not alone. The "Citizens Against Government Waste" is a non-profit, non-partisan, group devoted to eliminating unnecessary government spending. Each year, the CAGW releases the "Congressional Pig Book," which exposes the most outlandish pork barrel projects as well as the government leaders who sponsored them.

Economic 'stimulus'

This year it is no secret that the economy has taken a downturn. The Bush administration has implemented an economic stimulus plan. In May, the government is sending an economic stimulus check to eligible citizens, which includes more than 130 million homes, according to the Internal Revenue Service Web site.
