Relay for Life raises money for cancer research

Cancer Survivors took a lap around the luminary lit Mini-Dome Friday evening in honor of their hard battle won against cancer. Along with them, others whose lives have been affected by cancer walked, honoring the survivors who could be with them and those who could not.

Bible stories come to stage

The sacred texts of the Old Testament of the Bible contain stories that have been the focal point of Jewish and Christian teachings for four millennia. The stories will come to life on stage when the Story Dramatization Class of ETSU presents "In the Beginning: Stories from the Old Testament" on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 22-23, and Sunday, April 27.

Women affected by lack of sleep

(U-WIRE) NORMAL, Ill. - New research by the Duke University Medical Center shows that a lack of sleep may impact women more than men. Researchers determined overall sleep quality by using a combination of variables including the total amount of sleep, the degree of awakening during sleep and the amount of time taken to fall asleep.

Seniors recognized for excellence at convocation

ETSU will recognize 503 students for superior achievement during the annual Academic Excellence Convocation on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Millennium Centre ballroom. The 34 Faculty Award winners, voted by the faculty in each college as the most outstanding students in their respective academic department, will be honored, along with all graduating students achieving a 3.
