Every year as the leaves change and the weather cools a spirit of charity finds its way into the hearts of many. Students here at ETSU have found some unique and touching ways to give back to the community. The Little Bucs child care center in Warf-Pickel Hall has set up an angel tree to help the children that attend there.
The Honorable Ron Ramsey, lieutenant governor of Tennessee, will be the keynote speaker for both the 10 a.m. and the 2 p.m. commencement ceremonies at ETSU on Saturday, Dec. 15, in the Memorial Center (the Mini-Dome). Ramsey represents Tennessee Senate District 2, which encompasses Johnson and Sullivan counties.
Construction will continue at ETSU throughout Christmas break and into spring semester, according to Sid Smith, construction manager of ETSU Facilities Management and Ian Watson of ETSU's Physical Plant. The upcoming projects are: D.P. Culp Renovations: This project is currently in phases 4 and 5 of a five-phase project.
