Flirting with the Truth

I appreciate the research that Mr. McConnell did to write his article "Re-examining Scriptures." It is very detailed and is seemingly flawless in its content, but only to the unaided eye. I will try not to bore you with confusing details but hopefully I can shed some light upon a touchy subject.

"It's Not About Us"

One must take notice of the animosity that was present towards Mr. Bourgault while he fervently stated his deep convictions to the students at ETSU. Fire was fought back with fire ultimately to the point that the dialogue became repulsive and frivolous by the opposing crowd.

We must look honestly at our country!

Response to Elliott Cennamo's letter concerning Ron Paul

Dear Editor: Elliott wrote:"What if we pulled our troops from the Korean peninsula? How about the collapse of the Korean and possibly Asian economies and confidence, perhaps renewed fighting. Stop imposing trade and sanctions?" - The leaders of both countries are both in agreement in asking us to pull our troops off of their border, do you think that qualifies as a valid reason to bring our troops home?2)You also wrote: (what if we)"Up and pulled out of Iraq without a plan? Likely civil war and chaos of the likes of which I don't want to imagine.

Dear Editor: Recently, the East Tennessean published words from Kenneth McDonald. His letter was a scathing response to the nationwide, student-based, empty holster silent protest. Specifically, he refers to the members of ETSU's Marksmanship Club as "vigilantes.
